Structural Insulated Panels (SIP) are the engineering choice for high-performance, fast-build homes in demanding climates. Here is why every VEGA home is built with SIP.
Superior thermal performance
EPS 80 core (15 cm) achieves U-value ≈ 0.23 W/m²K — significantly exceeding standard timber-frame construction. Keeps homes cool in tropical heat and comfortable during cooler nights.
Fast factory-to-site assembly
All SIP panels are precision cut and numbered at the factory in Poland. A team of three assembles the complete structure in 8–26 working days — without cranes.
Structural integrity
The sandwich panel system (OSB-3 + EPS core + OSB-3) creates a monolithic, rigid structure that resists racking forces — critical for hurricane-zone and seismic conditions.
No thermal bridges
Continuous insulation throughout the building envelope eliminates cold bridging — a common failure point in traditional stud-frame construction.
Scandinavian C24 certified frame
The structural timber frame uses only certified Scandinavian C24 grade wood — consistent load-bearing properties, minimal twisting and no impregnation required.
Low-waste construction
Pre-cut panel kits produce minimal site waste compared to traditional building methods. Sustainable timber sourcing and no chemical treatment required for structural integrity.
